H.L.Shivananda was born in Hodeyala, a village in N.R Pura Taluk, Chikkamagaluru District in the year 1956. He did his schooling in Malnad area and completed his pre- University from Sahyadri Science College, Shivamogga. After graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from NIE, Mysore in 1979, he started his career as a planning engineer in 'Bharat Fritz Werner', Bengaluru for 2 years. He joined as an Assistant Director with the Industries and Commerce Department, Govt of Karnataka in 1982.

He worked for a span 34 years in various capacities and different district headquarters including Bengaluru and New Delhi. He retired as Joint Director of Industries and Commerce in June 2016. During his service in the Government, he assisted thousands of investors to invest in Karnataka in multiple sectors including manufacturing, infrastructure, IT, BT, tourism etc. He also facilitated and accompanied high profile delegations from the state to various countries.

A senior Journalist having four decade experience now extending his service to the community welfare since the inception of R L Jalappa Academy in 2015. An old Student of Idiga Hostel,Seshadripuram, Lakshmana Kodase, a B.A (Hons) and M A graduate from Bangalore University is a creative writer in Kannada.

More than 30 creative and edited works are in his name. Both Mysore University and Kalburgi Universities have awarded one PhD each to two scholars who submitted thesis on the study of Kodase's literary works. A novel written by Mr Kodase was selected as a text book for degree classes of Mangalore University. He is a recipient of 'Karnataka Rajyotsava award' in 2014.

K G Hanumantharaju, a businessman working closely with noted celebrities like R L Jalappa and J P Narayana Swamy. He is known for honesty and hard working. He is a trusted man of R L Jalappa and J P Narayanaswamy.

His services are being used as treasurer in Karnataka Pradesh Arya Idigara Sangha and R L Jalappa Academy. He is also assisting 'Smt Vijayalakshmi R L Jalappa Education Foundation', which is distributing scholarships to poor and merited Students of the community.

M.Thimmegowda, present president of Karnataka Pradesh Arya Idiga Sangha is one of the founder trustee of R L Jalappa Academy. He is also chairman of Sri Sudha Co operative bank. Thimmegowda was born in Harohally, Kanakapura taluk, Ramanagar district.

He started his career as excise contractor and expanded his business in to distillery, hotel, industry, property development, poultry farming and piggery. He succeeded JP Narayana Swamy in the administration of Sangha and Sri Sudha Co operative Bank as president and chairman respectively. He has got keen interest in the welfare of the community.

G H Nagaraj is a close associate of our mentor R L Jalappa. He is one of the trustees of Sri Devaraja Arasu Educational Trust for Backwards Classes. He is working as General Secretary of the Trust.

An educationist, businessman and a good organiser. He is also a trustee of R L Jalappa Academy. He is very keen interest in the welfare of the community.

Trustee R Rakesh has done his Master of Business Administration in Bangalore University, is a grand son of our mentor R L Jalappa.

He is in to agriculture and working as a secretary for Smt Anjanamma RL Jalappa old age home trust at Tubugere, Doddaballapur Taluk, Bangalore Rural district. Mr Rakesh is a trustee of R L Jalappa Academy also.

An old Student of Arya Idigara Hostel, Seshadripuram, T Narasimhaswamy worked at Deccan Herald and Prajavani for more than three decades. He is founder member of Old boys Association of Idiga Hostel.

A soft spoken Narasimha Swamy is also founder member of Karnataka Rajya Idiga Noukarara Kshemabhivruddi Sangha, he has got good organisational skills. T Narasimha Swamy is a trustee of R L Jalappa Academy.
